- Growing up in Northern New Mexico, I was continually exposed to a high mountain desert environment. These experiences seeded my interest in nature and the creations that occur in nature due to erosion, wind, rain, snow, and all the other destructive forces of nature that ultimately construct the landscapes that we are confronted with everyday. My sculpture, paintings, installations, and works on paper are all expressions of my interest in the natural world and how it is affected by either itself or human technologies.
